Hi all, I just finished counting the number of courses available to play in TW11. Not counting Predator, there are 27. I am interested in setting up an annual tournament (beginning in Jan 2011) that will take us through all 27 courses in one year. This would be one new course every two weeks and one additional course along the way. Players would be allowed to make up past tournaments, this would be especially helpful for any new comers that wanted to participate. If successful it could be turned into an annual event beginning each new year. I would be very interested in hearing your comments and feedback! This leaves only a few weeks to get everything setup - but I'm "game on" if you are! TPX Rocks! Jim

Let's do it! I'm all for different modes of play and the key would be to have a combination of course settings, tees, weather, etc to make it diverse and interesting. But it sounds like fun.

Great idea Jim - but can i add to it ?? My idea would be to have that every 2 weeks and there would be an overall leaderboard. The scoring system could be as follows: 15 points for 1st 12 points for 2nd 10 points for 3rd 8 points for 4th 6 points for 5th 5 points for 6th 4 points for 7th 3 points for 8th 2 points for 9th 1 point for 10th The problem is however is that pythagoras has an idea for a tournament. I will post it in here and maybe we could have poll from our members to decide which tournament takes place (3 is to many)

I completely understand about having too many tourneys! The Play Them All Tourney (PTALL) is still just an idea in my head - and ALL input is gladly appreciated! It may turn out that such a tournament needs to be played later or not at all.....no problem, that is why I am asking for feedback. If we do go ahead with the PTAll, the rules can allow for courses to be played at any time within the calendar year, people can play at their one pace - whenever they have time. I'll draft a basic rules plan and send it out for feedback. This would be a "member" created tournament versus a TWP sponsored tournament. We do not yet have any other tournament scheduled after November. It would be great to see Pyths tournament add to the calendar as the next TWP sponsored tournament! YEAH! Please send me a PM - we can work out the details off-line. Then post the tourney once it is ironed out. Let's make it a surprise! This is cool. Thanks Pyth!

A different way to approach this is to make the prize pool 1 point per player per 9 holes. Or 2 points per round. You can double this if tournament is considered a major. I have attached a spreadsheet that could be used if desired. Attachments:
