JT and Davski went to China to play golf.... JT had major jetlag.... ;D Davski defeats JTurner 13 to -6 From the start JT was overconfident and got his behind kicked on the first 2 holes. Dave played consistent and had some great shots. Well played Dave! (8 Birdies and 3 Bogeys) I hit the shot limit on a Par 5 trying to drive to far. Got stuck in the rough and could not clear the water. Had one good (lucky) hole #14 with an Eagle. A glass wall on my par putt on 9 was added in just to see if it could help my game! ;D I was doing fine - the music and Davski's great golfing kept me company. www.ustream.tv/recorded/16095562Good Game Davski!

JT, I've run into that ridiculous drop area on 8 before as well. It looks like when you finally made it over, your shot skimmed off the water and hopped onto dry land.
I'd like EA to show me the professional golfer who would choose to take a drop in thick rough by a large water hazard rather than hitting another tee shot.
When I was faced with it, I realized much too late that I could turn around and play my shot back up onto one of the tee boxes and take a go from there.

Confirmed. I was lucky enough to catch JT on a really bad day. Good fortune for you "Ski" Let's hope I can do the same with "the Kid" ;D
Speaking of: we have a tentative 12 noon (GMT) tee time on Saturday. So you play-off winner's better sharpen up, because after I make "meat" of this "kid" .. I will be lookin to apply some "HEAT" ;D ;D ;D
(wish me luck, I'll need it)!

TMan I have been there before too TMan - and knew I was in trouble. I think frustration was enough to keep me swinging toward the hole. ;D ;D I tried too hard to make some "low" percentage shots and paid the price. The long rough in these settings is quite a challenge. I had a lot of fun though and I am very happy to see Davski play well and move on to the next match.

Play-Off round 1 Official:
(First 18): Draw @ 6
(Frt 9):
Holy 11 Seve 1
The "kid" was chopping lumber on our first round. Even then, I had to eagle 18 to tie him!
I finally got to face the "kid" live ... it's been a long time Holy. I want to say since the "ryder cup thing" way back.
I had a blast catching up to you .. (not so much fun getting my hat handed to me on the extra holes)! ;D A pleasure to tee up with you young man. Thanks for the game(s).
Good Luck to BW, Mot, and yourself in the next few days guy's!

First of all I would just like to say congrats to Seve. In order to tie with me in the first game he birdied 16, 17 and eagled 18! Neither of us played very well at all but I found my form on the front 9 again.
Thanks once again Seve!

Nice effort forcing Holy into an extra nine holes Seve. And congrats to Holy. Now it's you and BWP deciding who will play me for the title. (I'm not even sure who I would prefer at this point, as both of you guys have been showing your serious game lately ;D) Motnola

Two real gent's in my book! CONFIRMed! We both played an awful Front9. I scored a Bogey and a Double Bogey, and Seve even scored an additional Bogey. On the Back9, we both approved our game, and had more red scores, and no more black ones. I eagled the short Par4-16th, which helped my score a lot, of course! Thanks for the game and the chat, Seve. It was a pleasure, as usual! ;D

In the Final Game of the Consolidation Bracket, I played a good Front9, but Davski played an awesome Back9. After 9 holes, I still had a 4-points-lead, due to my 5 Birdies compared to Davski's 3 Birdies. But on the Back9, all I managed were 2 Bogeys, while Davski owned the course with no Bogeys, but 5 Birdies. This made him easily win the game! In the end, Davski takes the game with 15 - 7 points! Good game; it was fun! And Congratulations on your 5th place!
